The urbanisation of which this plot is part, is located in the middle of nature and consists of 15 plots of 2 hectares each.

On each plot can be built one house of maximum 370 sqm. and a barn of maximum 50 sqm.

Water and drainage is present on the plot. Electricity must be arranged by alternative energy sources such as solar panels or a wind turbine.

Around the urbanisation there is a further 400 hectares of land, about which it has been agreed that no building is allowed, no intensive livestock farming can take place and no hunting is permitted.

The urbanisation is somewhat remote, but is easily accessible via a paved road and the beautiful historic village of Benabarre with all basic amenities is only 14 km. away.

The plot can be reached via an unpaved road. The largest and flattest part of the plot lies to the south of this road. To the north of this road is another small part of the plot.

The ecological village

This ecological village consists of 15 plots of 2 hectares each. The ecological aspects of this urbanization are written down in some agreements like: the usage of natural building materials and solar panels, the collection of rainwater, chemical products for garden maintenance can’t be used, only natural pools are allowed.

The village has a spectacular location, between Benabarre and the valley of the river Isábena in the beautiful region of la Ribagorza, and each plot has fantastic 360° views.

The plot offers wonderful views on the high Pyrenees and the beautiful mountain El Turbón.

A large part of the 15 plots have already been developed. The building regulations are very flexible so that you can really build a dream house.

Various hiking and mountain bike trails can be followed directly from the village.

La Ribagorza

La Ribagorza (Huesca) is still an authentic region with overwhelming nature, an abundance of hiking routes for both the casual and the serious walkers and a variety of outdoor activities (summer and winter), rich in culture and historical heritage, lots of nice historic towns and villages, and water always plays an important role in the landscape. All of this under the delight of over 300 days of sunshine every year.

The charming and historical village of Benabarre. In Benabarre there are all basic facilities, there is a medical centre, a primary school and a swimming pool and there are several good restaurants.

The nearby beautiful lake Barasona is perfect for swimming, canoeing, water skiing, or to relax on a terrace at the waterfront.

Everywhere in the landscape you can see historic vestiges like chapels, Roman bridges, defence towers and monasteries. The rich historical heritage is also reflected in the many authentic villages.

The spectacular gorge of Mont Rebei is carved by the river Noguera Ribagorzana and crosses the Montsec mountain range. The gorge can be enjoyed on foot following the ancient mule track carved into the rock. On the other side of the gorge are 2 spectacular wooden stairs that cross the rock vertically. Exploring the gorge by canoe is also an unforgettable experience.

The stunning and varied nature of the region, with the high peaks of the Pyrenees in the north and a more rolling landscape in the south and spectacular flora and fauna. After a day out there is the pleasure of enjoying local specialties. This region is especially known for the cultivation of the black winter truffle (tuber melanosporum).
