The house is divided over 3 floors and has an entrance on the ground floor and on the top floor. Parking is available on the upper floor level, so this is the main entrance.

Through the main entrance on the top floor, you enter a spacious room that serves as a hallway and additional seating area. This is also an ideal space to set up as a home office.

There are 2 bedrooms on this floor as well.

The larger of the 2 bedrooms offers access to a spacious sunny terrace with total privacy and fantastic views.

The middle floor consists of a living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom.

A footbridge crossing the village street leads to a spacious terrace with also the beautiful view of snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees.

The terrace offers fantastic unobstructed mountain views and is a wonderful place to enjoy the sun all year round. During the day you can enjoy the birds of prey gliding by and in the evening the beautiful starry sky that can be seen so well in this area without light pollution.

Directly adjacent to the living room are the kitchen and dining room, complete with a wood-burning stove, which, like the rest of the house, exude an inviting ambiance that would make you want to stay right there. The door in the kitchen leads to a pantry that also houses the washing machine.

On the other side of the living room are the bathroom, a dressing room and a bedroom.

The ground floor consists of 2 storage rooms. In one of these rooms is a water tank with a pump from which water is pumped to the 2 other floors. The water is free.

The ground floor leads to the small garden with a nice covered terrace and an adjacent lounge area.

The covered terrace is a nice shady corner to enjoy the outdoors even on warm summer days.

The lounge area is a lovely spot to read a book with a cup of tea and enjoy the peace and quiet or, on the contrary, to go over the day with family and friends over some tapas and a nice local wine.

Whichever terrace you sit on, there is always this fantastic wide view.

Relaxation and adventure

The village is beautifully tucked away in the mountains of the pre-Pyrenees with plenty of space and freedom to enjoy the tranquillity and peaceful rural life. There are also plenty of activities to enjoy in the immediate surroundings, such as hiking, mountain biking and mountain climbing. For cooling down on hot days, there are two nearby lakes where you can swim and relax on the waterfront. Or follow a route past historic castles and wineries, where you can discover local history and culture and enjoy delicious wines from the region. This area offers the perfect combination of natural beauty and exciting activities.

In this area, you will still find the authenticity of the Spanish countryside, where the shepherd goes for a walk with his sheep, the animals roam freely and people have time for a chat.

The village is situated between a number of castles and watchtowers that are well worth a visit. In summer, concerts are organised in the various castles.

Enjoy Spanish life, culture and gastronomy on the terraces, markets and in the local restaurants of the nearby town of Tremp or other beautiful historic villages in the area.

The nearby reservoirs Terradets and Sant Antoni offer plenty of opportunities for swimming and other water sports. But also to relax with a snack and a drink on a terrace on the waterfront.

The house is located at the foot of the beautiful Montsec mountain range and in a Starlight Reserve; this is one of the best places in the world for astronomical observation and to fully enjoy the starry sky.

The area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure sports but also for relaxing days by the river or, for example, fly-fishing and bird watching.
