The village has a very authentic charm, with historic streets that take you back in time. Everywhere you will find surprising spots that have stood the test of time.

Casa Però has beautiful unobstructed views of the mountains and across the valley. On the bench by the front door, you can enjoy this view and the sound of the river down in the valley.

You enter the house in a corridor where you are immediately drawn to the cosy living room.

The spacious living room is like an art gallery. Everywhere you look, you see beautiful sculptures, ceramics and other works of art.

Relax and enjoy the flames in the fireplace while sitting on the sofa, or be amazed by the many details of the art around you.

The dining room window offers beautiful views of the iconic mountain Montsent de Pallars. With an altitude of 2883 m. this is one of the most emblematic and famous peaks in the Pyrenees.

The dining room has a wood-burning stove that can heat the whole house due to its good insulation. But, the bedrooms and living room additionally have electric heating.

The kitchen is quite basic but has plenty of work and storage space.

There are two bedrooms in the house; one with a window overlooking the Montsent de Pallars, while the other bedroom has no window.

El Pallars Sobirà

Casa Però is situated in a small village at a height of 1005 metres in the Àssua valley in the Pallars Sobirà region. The village is very well accessible throughout the year and lies at only 6 km. from Rialp and 10 km. from Sort. The villages of Rialp and Sort are famous for their great variety of adventure sports like mountainbiking, horse riding, and canyoning. Especially white water sports are practised a lot because of its situation next to the white water river Noguera Pallaresa. But this region has lots more to offer like the national park of Aigüestortes and different skiing areas.

The whitewater river Noguera Pallaresa offers many adventure sports like rafting, kayaking hotdog and hydrospeed.

But the river also offers more peaceful activities: go gold panning, fishing, or find a nice spot to relax in your hammock.

In the immediate vicinity are many activities to do such as swimming, canyoning, rock climbing, via ferrata, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching and walking. And a tour through the region takes you past medieval villages, Romanesque churches/monasteries, and through an overwhelming nature.

The Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Pyrenees. There are countless beautiful hiking trails. A must do for nature lovers and hikers.
